Loads of guides to the latter popular Spanish route. For the French routes try Alison Raju's guide published by Cierone (Le Puy to St Jean) and the Topoguide Sentier vers Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle via Le Puy (Genève - Le Puy), published in a French edition only. The Solitary Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11284354541952038339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8319797996494487653.post-44033847604709760532011-10-18T14:08:14.998+01:002011-10-18T14:08:14.998+01:00LOL, well, that answers my question. Don't think I'll be able to take 4 - 6 weeks to walk the popular France route, but I could do parts of it. Are there any books/quides you recommend that outline different walking/hiking tours of France?Gracehttp://gracefulsimplicity.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8319797996494487653.post-39930757606090545342011-10-18T11:45:47.166+01:002011-10-18T11:45:47.166+01:00Thanks for visiting, sunny ... will get to your bl...Thanks for visiting, sunny ... will get to your blog as soon as I can ...

Grace, you would love it. Walking in that light is good for the soul. Amazing how clear the air is where you were walking. The more that I read your posting on this segment of the camino, the more I'm tempted to walk the camino in three stages over a couple of years — Geneva to Le Puy, Le Puy to St. Jean Pied de Port, and St. Jean to Santiago. The options are endless and endlessly fascinating. One thing that is especially appealing about the Geneva-Le Puy camino is that is appears significantly less crowded than the Camino Frances.

Thanks again.
