...Thanks, Bonnie. Flattery will get you everywhere!

Ruth, well, I'd never heard of pork bulgogi, so I've just googled it. Omigod, it looks so good! Thanks for your appreciative comment; it was much appreciated. The Solitary Walkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11284354541952038339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8319797996494487653.post-31350607256217210732011-06-07T10:58:57.166+01:002011-06-07T10:58:57.166+01:00Ahh, tears, laughing. What was once delicacy to me is equally disgusting (trying to think of examples ...).

What a delight, for food to be the context for coming of age, for exploring the offerings of the world, both artificial and authentic, and deciding for yourself which was which. Although last night's pork bulgogi made for us by Koreans, leftover, was heaven itself.Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14204074161539605133noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8319797996494487653.post-31001415188593094492011-06-06T15:31:18.186+01:002011-06-06T15:31:18.186+01:00No shame there Robert. You were exploring the world and developing new tastes - and deciding how you wanted to negotiate the world ... trying on different ways of being to see if you (and the environment) liked the feel ...

And now ... here is this gallant, erudite, renaissance man ... thanks in large measure, I'm sure, to the explorations in taste of the adolescent years.

Such an enjoyable read Robert.Bonnie Zieman, M.Ed.https://www.blogger.com/profile/00282469017360136275noreply@blogger.com
