Gallery 28 is in Mayfair. Owned a couple of hotels there once.

And I should have said... I take it you've been to London, to see Paul Klee at Tate Modern.

Yes, it's London, of course. The first two pics were taken in New Bond Street and Avery Row (Mayfair). The third is the Canada Memorial in Green Park opposite Buckingham Palace. The fourth is the Winter Wonderland Christmas market and funfair in Hyde Park. The fifth is Tate Modern. The sixth is my hotel room at the Thistle Hotel, Marble Arch; on my bed is the Exhibition Catalogue for Bob Dylan's 'Mood Swings' show at the Halcyon Gallery. The seventh was taken from the Millennium Bridge/Peter's Hill area just south of St Paul's Cathedral, but I don't know the church. And the last photo is a London plane tree taken somewhere along Mortimer Street/Goodge Street in Fitzrovia.

Like Dom Robert, I am pretty sure it is London but it is so long since I went that I can't identify individual places. Incidentally I absolutely adore Klee's work - was it a good exhibition?

I was trying to make out that catalog on the bed ...

Great pics! And a fun quiz, though I knew absolutely nothing beyond "London."

I didn't go inside Tate Modern this time, Pat, but I did visit Tate Britain and the National Gallery. I also saw Bob Dylan's paintings, silkscreen prints and iron-work sculptures at the Halcyon Gallery, New Bond Street.

Well done to Dominic and Am for getting the nearest!
