Sunrise

Give me odorous at sunrise a garden of beautiful flowers where I can walk undisturbed.

Guess what? There's been no rain here today and I could actually walk about the garden this morning and pluck at a weed, rather half-heartedly, I admit; there are far too many weeds to make any inroads after all the rain we've had.

Walking undisturbed at sunrise in a garden of flowers. What could be better than that? As e.e. cummings said, we must give thanks for these amazing days, for everything which is natural and infinite, for everything "which is yes."

No rain, Friko! Were you imagining things? I'm sure there'll be plenty this week.

And thanks George for the life-affirming comment.

Some of us are too lazy to great the early sun and that's missing a lot of living.
I must get up more.
