I watched the whole of Obama's speech yesterday on You Tube and felt almost privileged to have been able to do so. For once the USA (and the whole of the civilized world come to think of it) has the leader it deserves - someone with real charisma and a man with a mission. That’s the good news. On the other hand, it reminded me of the young Tony Blair, and we all know what a disappointment he turned out to be. And I fear that the KKK in Oklahoma will be awaiting their moment. A horrible thought but it’s been raining here in the Cevennes for 7 days and….
