For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel's sake. The great affair is to move. ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON

Jam And Jerusalem

Couldn't resist posting this video... 'The Village Green Preservation Society' - sung by the incomparable Kate Rusby, with lyrics by the great Ray Davies.

'God save little shops, china cups and virginity..!' Priceless.

How do you post your blog from out in the wilderness?

I don't. I post it when I'm back home. With a glass of wine on one hand and a cheese-and-marmite sandwich on the other! Ah, the joys of civilization.

But I believe you COULD do it - using one of those smart phone things, or using any broadband-connected computer you may find lurking in some remote pueblo or whatever.

Thanks your reply. I thought you posted from the wilds and then began to think you had use of a special satellite connection!!!
