You say yes, I say no / You say stop, and I say go, go, go / Oh, no / You say goodbye and I say hello BEATLES
I'll be away, in wabi-sabi mode, from this blog for a few weeks, so I wish all bloggers, blogreaders and cyberspace wabi-sabians a wonderful month of August. Remember to live it to the full and drink it to the lees. For one thing's for sure, there won't be another August 2010. Ever. Ciao for now!
Since impermanence and creative lostness are two characteristic wabi-sabi signatures, I leave you with these two quotes:
Nought may endure but Mutability. SHELLEY
Getting lost is our best defence against being lost. ADAM PHILLIPS

Happy wabi-sabiing Robert. Enjoyed your quote by Adam Phillips, I have a few of his books and admire his steady, quiet, brilliant mind. WaBE-SaBE!
The quote comes from Phillips' new book, 'On Balance', which was reviewed in the 'Guardian' recently. OK, I'll be wabi-sabiing off into the sunset, then...
Get lost, Robert! And have a wonderful time at it... ;)
May you remain delightfully lost for as long as necessary, my friend. I say getting lost by design is just as much fun as getting lost by accident…except you won't necessarily be thought a fool and your friends and family won't mount a search party, and then take their anger out on you when you turn up.
Your return will be eagerly awaited by those who matter.
Hey, isn't it surprising what you find when you are lost?
Have fun finding it.

See you later. Have a good time, whatever you're upto.
Good luck, Robert, whatever your destination or lack thereof. I look forward to your return and new postings on what you have experienced while being creatively lost.
Thanks, guys. Well, I'm off now. Err, just remind me where I was going, will you?
They'd be over soon they said, but they've lost themselves instead.

If you don't know where you're going, any road take can you there.
(George Harrison, too)
I just saw a man with white T-shirt with the words "Where Am I Going?"

Kind wishes always,
