Poetry Cornwall: Review, Feature And Poem

Issue 37 of Poetry Cornwall is just out, and in it the editor, Les Merton, has kindly reviewed my poetry collection, Raining Quinces...

My poetry magazine, The Passionate Transitory, is also featured in the Meet The Editors section, plus one of my poems, Deep Blue...

Thanks, Les!

Congratulations on these features, Robert.

And I love love love the poem "Deep Blue" which I have not read previously. (I am the slowest reader in the history of the world, and have still not finished Raining Quinces, though my slowness does not reflect my interest and pleasure.)

"Can you stare into the sun's eye
until you see cantaloupe?" ... This is wonderful, as is the whole poem!

Thanks so, so much for your kind comments, Ruth.

(You'll get to that poem, err, eventually. It's the penultimate one in the book!)

I read from your poetry book each month at our Poetry meeting Robert and it is much admired and discussed.

Congratulations on the review! I think you know that I have long appreciated your poetry and am delighted to have your poems in book form.

I, too, am a slow reader of poetry, and it takes me some time to read each issue of The Passionate Transitory. Congratulations there, too!

Thank you again for introducing me to the writing of Rebecca Solnit. I have just finished reading the recently published The Faraway Nearby. Very good. I think you'd like it.

I have a new URL for my blog:

Thanks for visiting, am, and for your nice comments. I just love Rebecca Solnit, but haven't read her latest, so I must order it. Have updated your URL on my sidebar.

Congratulations, you deserve the recognition. Where would I be able to get a copy in Canada (I don't believe I can buy from Amazon US or UK)? Provide the answer on my blog otherwise I will forget to come back and check these comments:)
