Ring Them Bells

This post is dedicated to blog friend Am (Amanda) from the American North West, one of my most loyal and long-standing blog readers. Am is a big Bob Dylan fan, like myself. She is a talented artist and craftsperson, practises yoga, has a cat called Oboe and has just bought an autoharp. She also has a blog with one of the best blog titles ever: Talking 37th Dream (Rumors Of Peace). How cool is that?

Thank you for dedicating this post to me. It's been something of a rough day, and I'm grateful that it is ending with hearing Sarah Jarosz singing "Ring Them Bells," one of my favorite songs ever.

Each time I hear a younger person bringing their own voice and experience to Bob Dylan's music I am heartened, knowing that these beloved songs will continue to be sung long after those of us who first heard them are gone.

As always, thank you for your writing and photographs and for sharing your journey with us.

Lovely, Robert. And lovely Am. It's time I started following Talking 37th Dream (Rumors of Peace), a sweet place, thank you.

Thank you for the link to 37th Dream. I've stuck it on my bloglist.

I enjoyed this sooo much! And experienced a slight feeling of being whisked back several decades to another time, a younger self - worth it for that alone...

Nice work, SW. Am is one of the nicest people I've "met" through blogging.
