Somebody in the Times said how they hated the term folk as they felt it categorised music unnecessarily. Interesting.
I heard the Thubron interview - there was also a good article on him in the Guardian on Saturday (as well as a review the week before) - he does write really well and it is fascinating from so many angles - do read it.
The Hare with the Amber eyes is also brilliant - I thought of you as one of the writer's ancestors knew Rilke and had a long correspondence with him - another must read/
Hope this comment sticks - I can't always get them on to your site.

Really pleased by those wins!
I interviewed June Tabor about her new album recently. It's up on my blog:

Thanks so much for the links to the music!
Thanks, Pat, and am - and welcome to my blog, Alex. As you know, I've read your interview with June Tabor, and it's just brilliant.
