Those are among my all-time favorite Woody Guthrie lyrics. I can feel them in my bones. Thanks for this today. Unexpectedly moving to see Billy Bragg singing for Captain Claw in that surreal world.

Did a little Googling and learned about Captain Claw -- a lobster who represented Atlantic Canada on Kids' CBC as a lighthouse keeper in Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia. I didn't have a clue what the context was (-:
